M-31 Andromeda Galaxy

Subject:M-31, the Andromeda Galaxy. 2.2 million light years distant. M-32 is on the right side of the image. This is only an image of the immediate core of M-31 which extends some 2 times more off the edge of the frame!
Telescope:Takahashi FSQ-106n.
Mount:Losmandy G-11
Imager:ST-7 non-E non-ABG CCD
Image Details:Two five minute integrations were taken with the galaxies core on opposite sides. The imaged were then made to form a mosaic using MaxImDL. Post processing included dark frame subtraction and DDP.
