M-45 The Pleiades Cluster

Subject:M45, the Pleiades Cluster in Taurus. 400 Light Years distant.
Telescope:Celestron 8" at f/1.95 in Fastar mode.
Mount:Losmandy G-11
Imager:MX-5c Color CCD
Image Details:This was an experiment to see how the the MX-5c could be used in Fastar mode and to use a Short Tube 80mm scope as a guidescope with the ST-4. An addition of two 5 minute integrations. Internal reflections within the scope account for the odd shapes towards the bottom of the image. Guided with an ST4 through an attached Short Tube 80mm scope.
