Subject:M-57, the Ring Nebula in Lyra. 1400 light years distant.
Telescope:Celestron 8" with f/6.3 focal reducer
Mount:Losmandy G-11
Imager:MX-516 CCD
Image Details:A single 5 minute integration, ST-4 autoguided. A dark frame was subtracted. Note galaxy IC-1296, a magnitude 14.8 spiral, visible in the contrast stretched inserted image.
