| Subject: | NGC 891 a galaxy in Andromeda. 30 million light years distant. |
|---|---|
| Telescope: | Celestron 8" with f/6.3 focal reducer |
| Mount: | Losmandy G-11 |
| Imager: | SBIG ST-7 non-E non-ABG -30C CFW-8 |
| Image Details: | An addition of three 5 minute integration for luminance 5:5:12min for RGB, self guided. Dark frames were subtracted. This is a second edition of this image. The first was overprocessed using DDP leaving dark circles around bright stars. This image did not have DDP performed and also has a more "realistic" color balance. If you would like to see the previous edition, it can be seen here. This is a showpiece object worth seeing visually. November 23/24, 2000. |
