John's Train Page

My HO trains are Marklin Digital following the Era IV-V of the Swiss Federal Railway (SSB). These images were taken using a digital camera, then edited with Adobe Photoshop to hide the background. The main layout is 4' x 8' with a 3' x 4' extension for Bonn Station. All turnouts are remotely activated and digitally controlled as are the locomotives.

The scenery was done using the classical HO method:

The Class 460 locomotive pulling freight. The front of the Class Re4/4 II locomotive pulling passenger cars.

Passenger car details. The interior lights were installed later using the Marklin lighting kit. The station.
